Full Time Teacher required from 1 September 2019

 

Salary main scale plus fringe and SEN1 allowance (NQTs considered)

 

We are a special school for pupils from years 7 to11 who have learning and additional needs. We are seeking a full time primary or secondary qualified teacher to teach a full range of subjects across the curriculum and be a Form Tutor. Many of our students, although of secondary age, are working at a primary level and follow a KS1/KS2 curriculum.

 

Pre-visits to our school are essential.

 

This position would suit someone who has a real interest in the area of SEN and would like to develop this further. Experience of working in a Special School is not essential as full training/CPD opportunities will be given.

 

We were graded Outstanding by OFSTED in 2009, 2012 and 2016.

1:1 Teaching Assistants fixed term to 24/7/19

term time only 32 hours pw

Pay scale WA4-10 to WA4-16 pro rata

(FTE £18,729 to £22,170)

Bank Teaching Assistants required

Pay scale WA4-10 to WA4-16

(Full time equivalent £18729 - £22170 per annum)

We are an outstanding special secondary school for students with moderate learning difficulties and other additional needs, many of whom are on the autistic spectrum. We are looking to increase our pool of bank teaching assistants to support teaching and learning in the school with classroom, small group or 1:1 work. Hours to be worked are as and when required by the school to cover staff absence and are sometimes at short notice.
