On behalf of colleagues and students in schools within WMAT, we offer our sincere condolences on the death of HM  Queen Elizabeth II.      

Her Majesty was an inspirational leader whose devotion to the service of her country and the Commonwealth was unprecedented; her reign will be reflected upon with great national pride as part of our country’s rich history.

Our schools will observe the national mourning period including remaining closed on Monday September 19th, the day of the state funeral. Otherwise, students are expected to attend school as usual where support will be offered, as appropriate.
